Payment Source Appoints Robert Hyde As President

Today Payment Source announces the appointment of Robert Hyde to the position of President effective May 1, 2019.

Prior to his role at Payment Source, Mr. Hyde was a senior leader and consultant, working with some of Canada’s top brands in Telecommunications, Financial Services and Retail to deliver innovative digital strategies and software. He holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a B.Comm from the Rotman School of Management.

“Robert has an extraordinary understanding of the business and is highly respected within the organization and in the industry,” says Trevor Cook, CEO at Payment Source. “He personifies the values and culture that have made this company successful over the past 5 years. With Robert as President, the company is well positioned for further growth.”

Mr. Hyde will retain his responsibility for Payment Source’s Payment Services line of business, where he has been instrumental in launching new innovative partnerships with Amazon, Paytm and Intuit.  He has also led the market introduction of PaySimply; a government bill payment website that allows consumers and small businesses to pay taxes using credit cards, PayPal, or in-person with cash or debit at Canada Post.

“Payment Source is truly a Made-in-Canada entrepreneurial success story driven by the vision and leadership of George DeMarchi and Trevor Cook”, says Mr. Hyde. “I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with our talented leadership team to take Payment Source to the next phase in our evolution.”
