Paysafe adds multiple payment options to PaySimply

Paysafe Group (Paysafe), a global payments provider, today announced its expanded partnership with Payment Source to include PaySimply, an online portal allowing tax and bill payment.

The expanded partnership comes at a time when Canadians are preparing to pay tax bills ahead of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)’s 30th April individual tax return deadline. The partnership gives consumers and small businesses access to a wide choice of payment methods, including Paysafe’s online cash solution, Paysafecash. The portfolio of Paysafe payment products on offer through PaySimply can also be used to pay more than 3,000 other bills, including municipal taxes, college and university fees (tuition, housing and meal plans) and utility bills.

Founded in 1996, Paysafe, which has offices in both Montreal and Calgary, focuses on providing international merchants and consumers with a wide choice of payment products and services to meet their needs.

The Paysafe products integrated with PaySimply include Paysafecash, allowing Canadians without access to a credit card or online banking to pay their individual CRA tax or certain other bills using cash online. PaySimply users will be able to generate a smart phone-friendly or printable digital barcode and then pay the balance in-person at any Canada Post outlet.

Canadians will soon be able to use Paysafe’s well-established digital wallets NETELLER and Skrill as new payment options to pay on PaySimply from their account balance. In addition, Paysafe currently allows PaySimply users to pay easily and securely using their Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card.

Small businesses will also benefit from PaySimply’s integration of Paysafe products, which will offer greater flexibility when paying corporate income tax, GST/HST and payroll source deductions.

Danny Chazonoff, Chief Operating Officer at Paysafe, said: “Our company has roots in Canada and it remains an ongoing part of the Paysafe story, so it’s exciting to partner with PaySimply, with its focus on consumers across the country as well as the small business world that first nurtured our growth. We’re also proud to unveil a local partnership that showcases the breadth of Paysafe’s offering – from our online cash product and our digital wallets to credit card payment processing.”

George DeMarchi, President of Payment Source, said: “Paysafe has been a valuable and trusted partner of Payment Source for many years. We are excited to be able to add these new payment methods to our PaySimply solution and look forward to providing Canadians with even more choice on how they make everyday payments.”
